Find a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life is an accepted truth. Too often people focus on money, location, or availability for the work they desire. Yet, it is possible that in almost in any endeavor you can find a good paying job. And with patience you can find a job you love almost anywhere. What it takes is two things- exploration and planning.
Finding the job you love can happen by chance, but that is more the exception than the rule. Finding the perfect job can be more a pre-determined fact if you know what to look for. A job counselor and a career aptitude test can give you a clearer idea of what would fit your personality and talents. It can also make you aware of jobs that you did not know existed. We are only a sum of our experiences, but a career counselor has tools that show you a number of jobs that would fit your aptitudes and interests.
The next thing to do is to plan how to get the job you would love. What are the job requirements? Does it only take experience or does it require specialized training (or degree, certification, etc.)? Then you need to plan to get that schooling. The next step is getting the right experience, most desirable jobs want certain experiences in applicants. If nothing else the right experience will position you in the right place for the job you want. You will be able to know when a position becomes available and will be there to take advantage of it.
